Memories Around

Your place, and what people remember in it.

Memories Around is a map of moments, pinned where they happened. If people have moments in your place, this is where those end up — and you can decide how the place itself appears.

What you get

A page of your own on the map

A listing is not an advert. It is the place itself, as a page: what you are, where you are, when you're open — and underneath, whatever people wrote while they were there.

  • Your photo, name and description, with a verified mark once approved
  • Opening hours, phone, website and menu link
  • What you offer, from Wi-Fi to step-free access
  • Instagram, Facebook and X, if you want them shown
  • Every memory left at your place, newest first
  • A Leave a Memory Here button on the page itself

Adding a place takes five steps

It's a wizard in the app, not a form to email us. You can come back and edit any of it afterwards.

1

The basics

The name, the category, a photograph, and up to two thousand words about what the place is.

2

Where it is

Street, city and country, plus a link to your existing Google or Yelp listing so we can check you are you.

3

On the map

Move the map until the pin sits on your door. This is the spot memories will attach to.

4

Hours & contact

Opening hours day by day, a phone number, your website and a menu link if you have one.

5

The details

What you offer — coffee, outdoor seating, step-free access, pet friendly — and your Instagram, Facebook or X.

Then it goes to review, usually within a week. Approved listings appear on the map for everyone; if something is off, you get a note back explaining what to change.

Review

Every listing is checked by a person

Filling in a form doesn't prove a business is real, so no listing goes live on that alone. Before anyone else can see it, we compare it with the listing link you gave us.

  • In review while we look, and visible to nobody but you
  • A written note back if it is refused, so you know what to fix
  • The verified mark is earned by that review, never self-declared
  • Your Places keeps them all in one list, ready to edit

How people actually find you

There is no ranking to buy and no advertising slot to fill. Distance decides what someone sees, the same way it decides everything else in the app.

Nearby

Places near a reader sit in a rail above their feed and on the map beside the memories.

Searched for

Discovery searches places by name and category, around the reader or anywhere they drop the origin.

Walked past

Readers who turn alerts on can be told when they are near somewhere worth stopping at. Your category decides which of them hear it.

What a listing does not let you do

A memory belongs to the person who wrote it, not to the place it names. You cannot edit or remove one, and you cannot pay to have your place shown ahead of another. If something left at your place breaks the rules, report it the way any reader would and it goes out of sight while it is reviewed.

What it costs

Places are part of the Business plan, bought in the app monthly or yearly through the App Store or Google Play. It carries everything in Premium — the map without a range limit, unlimited saves, search anywhere, proximity alerts — and adds your own places on top.
